DataMac® Ag

Our 2021 DataMac® Ag report has just been released; subscribers can explore the aftermarket demand for the 550 components totaling more than $7 Billion dollars. Included are detailed agriculture economic summaries, parts demand by principal crops, component brand shares, other maintenance practices, purchase rationales and more. This data is also available through our online application, where you can analyze replacement demand by equipment type, farm size, where the service is being completed, where the parts are purchased and what type of part is utilized in the service activity (new, remanufactured, etc.). The number of accessible data points is vast and our online application provides you with ability to meet all of your data needs.

DataMac® Ag explores current and projected replacement demand for everything from engines to filters to starters, hydraulics, plow parts to sieves. DataMac® Ag is based on data derived from hundreds of surveys completed by farmers and agri-related businesses.

Agriculture Distribution Study

Our Agriculture Distribution Study is a natural extension of our DataMac® Ag product. While DataMac® Ag examines parts demand by the operator, our Distribution Study gleans data from the Agriculture distribution channels on their parts sales, labor sales, shop labor rates, parts pricing, inventory and e-commerce sales.

Our Distribution Study highlights input from equipment dealers, specialists/rebuilders, independent service providers, engine distributors, co-ops, farm fleet stores and auto parts stores and will be released Spring 2022 (right around the corner!).

Our future plans include completing a similar study focused on Construction Parts Distribution.

DataMac® CE

Profiling the aftermarket replacement parts used on construction equipment, DataMac® CE explores 570 components on 5 types of equipment. Similar to all of our DataMac® products, data for DataMac® CE is based upon those who know best about parts replaced on their vehicles; hundreds of owners and maintainers provide parts replacement data including service and parts purchasing for the equipment they operate. Construction equipment varies by size given the job and application. DataMac® CE segments replacement practices by horsepower or loading capacity, allowing our clients to see the differences in demand.

Similar to our farm equipment offering, our DataMac® Lube CE report and online application detail lubricant replacement in construction equipment —engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and transmission fluid, gear oil and oil additives.
